San Pedro Creek Culture Park has opened two new sections of trails and art to the public as part of a larger project to transform the creek into a recreation space.
The new sections along the creek from El Paso Street to South Alamo Street opened Oct.1, featuring multiple mediums of art honoring San Antonio history and culture.
Metal art screens, tile art and poetry inscribed into rock can be found along a half mile of a new section, according to a news release.
Visitors have more opportunities to connect with contemporary art at Ruby City, which is situated beside the recently opened sections.
