Sydney Sweeney sent her costar Glen Powell a sweet message via Instagram on Saturday.
‘Happy birthday to my fellow camp counselor, adventure extraordinaire, and goof ball,’ the 26-year-old Euphoria actress wrote to mark the Top Gun: Maverick hunk’s 35th milestone.
Along with the well-wishes, Sydney shared an adorable photo of the pair from the set of their upcoming film Anyone But You.
Rocking wide-brimmed hats, sunglasses and matching jackets, the two movies stars looked incredibly happy.
The obvious chemistry between the pair had recently fueled speculation of an on-set romance during filming of the romantic comedy.
The rumors gained traction after Glen silently split with his model girlfriend Gigi Paris last April.
Sydney finally shot down the rumors during a tell-all interview with Variety, saying ‘It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want!’
She added: ‘Glen and I don’t really care.’
‘We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker,’ she continued.
‘We’re excited for the press tour [the interview was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike], and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, “That’s really funny,’ the blonde beauty quipped.
Despite the pair continually denying any possibility of a romance, fans of the two Hollywood heavyweights found such statements hard to believe after the rom-com co-stars were spotted spending a lot of time together in Australia…when they weren’t filming scenes.
A production member on the film even relayed that many of the workers on set ‘thought they were already a couple.’
They continued with ‘I knew him from Top Gun. But I just assumed they were a couple in real life. That’s what it looked like to most of us. And to some of the extras as well.’
Although the 6’0 heartthrob did break up with his girlfriend while filming Anyone But You, with Gigi even unfollowing the Madame Webb star, Sydney is still very much together with her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, 38.
The pair have looked more loved up than ever recently, with Sydney and Jonathan even joining Riverdale star Lili Reinhart on a double date with her boyfriend Jack Martin while the foursome were vacationing in Venice back in September.
A source told TMZ back in April that the curvaceous beauty was ‘still engaged,’ to the Chicago restaurateur and that Glen and Sydney were ‘not dating.’
The same insider verified that Jonathan and his sex symbol fiancée were still living together as well, despite theories to the contrary.
Scandalous rumors aside, Anyone But You is written and directed by Will Gluck (Friends With Benefits, Easy A).
The rom-com will debut in theaters everywhere on December 15.
The Washington born beauty also serves as an executive producer on the film.
Meanwhile, the single, Austin-born leading man is set to star in Twisters in 2024, his next film project, after Anyone But You drops this year.
