Sia showed off her smooth visage as she posed up with Jennifer Lopez at a glamorous LA event this week – after revealing she underwent a facelift aged 47.
The Australian singer, 47, looked stunning in a pink print dress as she chatted with JLo, 54. in a throwback snap from Sunday’s Daytime Beauty Awards.
The MTV Video Music Award winner, who was previously known for frequently masking her face with a wig at events, looked glowing as she and the Let’s Get Loud singer stood in front of a cart of DeLola alcoholic beverages.
Sia wore matching sneakers with the ankle length frock.
The Cheap Thrills singer’s hair was pulled back and topped with a bright pink floral headband.
JLo, 54, looked chic in a white shirt dress shirt dress with flared sleeves and gold buttons.
The This is Me… Now singer showed off her dancer’s legs via side slits in the frock and gold high heel sandals.
The fashionista styled her long brown hair in a sleek bun.
She kept her makeup simple, but added a pop of color with bright red lipstick and accessorized with large gold earrings, sunglasses and a gold handbag.
Jennifer wrote ‘Limitless’ next to the snaps and tagged the Chandelier artist on the post.
The Chandelier singer took to the stage at the 5th annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday to present her ‘good friend’ Dr. Talei with the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine award.
While issuing the award, the star revealed to the audience she had gone under the knife.
She said: ‘I’m a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about s**t. I got an amazing face lift from Dr. Talei. He is incredible. And he is doing so much good work—and not just for the pop stars of the world.’
Dr. Talei meanwhile said: ‘I don’t know if you guys know how amazing Sia is as a person. We have a lot of common friends and it’s always shocking how many keep saying, ‘I love her, I love her, I love her. She’s amazing.’
Sia has been known to cover her face with various disguises since shooting to mainstream fame – having been in the music industry in 1995 – as she previously revealed she was determined not to be judged on her looks.
She said: ‘I don’t want to be critiqued about the way that I look on the internet. I’ve been writing pop songs for pop stars for a couple of years, and I’ve become friends with them and see what their life is like, and that’s not something I want.’
Now however, in recent years she has been showing her face more and on Sunday made the candid confession about her looks.
Elaborating on the work, she said: ”I was showing someone in the back my before-and-afters right before I came on. People go, “You look nice”…
‘I’m like, “Dr. Ben Talei, face lift” for like anything you could ever want. I love him, I can’t say enough good about him.’
Sia has been celebrating the success of her single, Unstoppable. It is the singer’s sixth song to hit more than a billion streams on Spotify.
The song was included on her 2016 album, This is Acting, but went viral thanks to its popularity on TikTok. Her hits Chandelier, Cheap Thrills, David Guetta’s Titanium and Dusk Till Dawn with Zayn have all gotten more than a billion hits as well.
