Dead Island 2 is set to launch later this month on April 21st, offering us a fresh adventure in post-apocalyptic LA as Dambuster reboots the series. We can now exclusively reveal 27 Dead Island 2 Xbox achievements.
It’s been a long time coming, but we can now say that we’re finally in Dead Island 2’s launch month, with the much-delayed game landing on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on April 21st. Courtesy of our friends at Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver, we can also exclusively reveal 27 Dead Island 2 achievements. These are all of the miscellaneous unlocks worth 730 Gamerscore, with the remaining 270G tied to story-related secret achievements that the team has decided to hold off revealing to prevent spoilers from getting out early.
Dead Island 2 achievements
In keeping with the zombie-slaying vibes Dead Island 2 will be offering up, the achievement list contains plenty of unlocks for taking down the undead in a number of ways, from maiming limbs, to taking zombies out with the glorious finisher moves that show the full extent of Dambuster’s FLESH system, taking them out with the Fury mode, and more. On top of that, there are a number related to completing the Zompedia, which is your in-game encyclopedia of every variant you come across, and completing the first tier of each challenge list. Surprisingly, there doesn’t seem to be one for completing all of the challenge tiers, which is a curse or a blessing, depending on how you look at it. Even more surprising, unlike its predecessor, there isn’t an achievement for reaching a certain level with each of the Dead Island 2 Slayers. All-in-all, this looks like a pretty simple list on paper, but we’ll be playing around with everything Hell-A has to offer a zombie-slaying badass.
