The Bergson’s Games Studios has cancelled the Spanish Windows release of One Step After Fall following Microsoft delisting other versions of the game from the Xbox store.
One Step After Fall (Español) (Windows) was down to launch on April 18th, but following delistings of other language versions of the game, The Bergson’s Games Studios has announced on Twitter that the rerelease of the narrative adventure game has been cancelled. The studio also commented on the delistings of controversial language stacks, One Step After Fall (Deutsch) and One Step After Fall (Español).

“On behalf of The Bergson’s Games Studios, we would like to apologise for all the inconvenience caused to you, friends, players, and consumers,” TBGS said in a lengthy Twitter thread which has been translated via Google Translate. “As of today, April 15th, the One Step After Fall Spanish and One Step After Fall German versions have been removed from the Xbox Store by Microsoft. Why? The information given to us was not clear.”
TBGS goes on to say that it’s “trying to evaluate all possible options” regarding the delistings. Some players have reported that despite previously purchasing the two now-delisted versions, they can no longer download them from Xbox store. “We don’t have a clear answer at the moment,” TGBS said. “Again, we point out and apologise that you lost access to our games! No rules were broken on our part, but unfortunately, the situation has become this.”
To avoid “future inconveniences” and players potentially losing out on more money, TBGS says it has chosen to cancel the Spanish Windows release of One Step After Fall.
“We value the quality and integrity of our company, and that is why we are being transparent with you in this situation,” TBGS said. “Any questions regarding the removal of games from your library, please contact Xbox Support.”
